Today Pastor Jim and I went to the “Big Water Blow Out” in the morning, which is when all of the rafting companies come and give rides down the river for pretty cheap, and it goes really fast because there’s really high water this time of year. We didn’t go down the river, but we went and saw the tents and merchandise they were all selling. Afterward we went to the church and had a planning session for what we want to do with the Sunday school rooms in the basement. We’re going to be doing a lot of painting and refurbishing in the next week to get them ready for VBS week. We also picked up some pressure sprayers that dispense weed killer. We spent the afternoon spraying the overgrown sand volleyball court with poison. After about a week we’ll go and pull all of the dead weeds and till the sand in the court to get it playable. Once we were done spraying, we went inside and talked with Bruce, the music minister, about the new computer/projection system. Then I tried to put the magic TV Cabinet on ebay, and as it turns out… ebay is stupid. Evidently craigslist is the way to go. I’ll be doing that tomorrow. That is, in between four wheeling with a member of the congregation, and having our second youth night. Pray for awesome times in the next few days!

The kayakers we saw on our way into Boise.
These were class 5 (the highest) rapids
